The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S phone comes preloaded with MIUI 12.5, making it the first smartphone to run the newest android MIUI version. My device got the April Android security patch, and the UI runs on top of Android 11 version. During the review time, the Redmi Note 10S smartphone was running an intermediate version of MIUI 12.5 with additional good looking features coming shortly, according to the firm. The phone did ask for permission to use Glance for Mi, a wallpaper carousel service, during setup, which I denied because it displays sponsored material on this phone.

There are a lot of preloaded applications on the smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, but I was able to delete the most of them, which is a good start. While using you the smartphone, I received promotional alerts from GetApps and the Themes apps.

Performance and battery life of the Redmi Note 10S smartphone

During the review time, the Redmi Note 10S phone delivered excellent performance and showed no indications of slowing down. Multitasking is a breeze because to the 6GB space of RAM. The AMOLED display had decent viewing angles for me, and it was bright enough when I was outside in redmi. The dual speakers on the Redmi Note 10S phone are a nice touch that assist to improve the video viewing better experience. The fingerprint scanner on the side of the smartphone is simple to reach and unlocks the phone very quickly.

Given the redmi note 10s MediaTek Helio G95 CPU , I expected this smartphone to outperform the Redmi Note 10 in the limited tests I was able to run, and it did. AnTuTu gave the Redmi Note 10S smartphone 330,650 points, while Geekbench 5 gave it 516 and 1,668 points for single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The graphical benchmarks GFXBench and 3DMark were not conducted on the Redmi Note 10S phone.

Call of Duty Mobile worked without a hitch in this time. For visuals and frame rate, it was set to High by default on this. The game ran well at these settings, and I didn't detect any stutters while easily playing. After 10 minutes of gaming, the battery level had dropped by 3%, and the top of the phone was somewhat warm to the touch on redmi.

The Redmi Note 10S's 5,000mAh good battery is capable of providing long battery life. On a single charge, I could easily use on the redmi smartphone for almost a day. Cameras on the Redmi Note 10S smartphone

The Redmi Note 10S smartphone, like the Redmi Note 10, has a quad-camera setup, but the back camera sensor has a higher and very good resolution. A 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor are all included. It includes a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies.

The majority of the numerous photo shooting modes are well-organized on Xiaomi phone's camera software, making it simple to select the one you want. Unfortunately, enabling the Macro mode still necessitates numerous taps on this phone. You have a simple toggle for AI in the camera app as very well.

The Redmi Note 10S smartphone took mediocre daytime photographs that were oversharpened. Nearby items had very good resolution, while distant ones seemed blotchy. Photos taken at full resolution (64 megapixels) exhibited less detail and were not as crisp as pixel-binned photos on the camara. You can get a wider image with the ultra-wide angle the camera, but the clarity isn't as excellent, and there's visible distortion on the sides.

Close-up photos come out better, and the phone's AI-enabled camera can swiftly recognize the camara situations. The Note 10S phone focused quickly, and I didn't have to try many times to obtain a very good photo. Portrait pictures featured good edge recognition, and I could adjust the amount of background blur before photo shooting. Macro photos were very good, but only had a resolution of 2 megapixels.

Low-light pictures were flat, and distant objects looked blurry in camara. The redmi smartphone kept noise to a minimum, but the photos weren't the finest I've seen at this price point.Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Photo quality was significantly brighter and pictures had slightly greater details when Night mode camara was activated. The ultra-wide angle camera struggles to produce very good images at night and is best used for landscapes during the day.

Selfies were decent, and even with masks on for portraiture, the redmi smartphone could recognize faces. Before you snap a camara picture, you may modify the background blur with a slider. Selfies taken in low light were likewise much better. By default, beautification is turned on, which softens the image.

For the back camera and this video recording is limited to 4K 30fps. 1080p film appeared to be stabilized, with just minor shimmer when walking about, but 4K footage was not. Low-light video taken at 1080p was only mediocre, with a shimmer effect in the output, whilst 4K footage was not stabilized on redmi phone.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S Verdict

The Redmi Note 10 phone (Review) continues to offer excellent value for money. The Redmi Note 10S is Xiaomi's new brother, featuring a faster CPU, more RAM, and a higher-resolution primary camera is very good the only surprise is that it was released just two months after the original.

However, the Note 10S phone is more costly, with a price difference of Rs. only 2,000 between Redmi Note 10s smartphone and Note 10S versions with the same amount of RAM and space storage. The redmi cameras did not wow me enough to make me suggest the Redmi Note 10S over the Redmi Note 10. The Note 10S smartphone, on the other hand, has a small advantage over its brother in terms of performance in this smartphone.
